Connection

I have a friend. This post will be about her.

The friendship we share is the one I most treasure. Funny thing is that our first impressions of each other were enough for us to not want to pursue further mingling; but it only took a lunch with a single connection to break the awkwardness, the first impressions, the walls.

Sadly, we are currently on different sides of the world. It's been a little over a year now. I still question why it has to be an ocean and some continents between us... Why couldn't it have been a cheeseburger and some fries? Or why couldn't it have been someone else, anyone else... Only the big G knows. I believe that He will bring us back together again... just like the day He brought us together for that fateful lunch.

Lately I've been experiencing the case of "BLAH". One of the things I look forward to daily is our late night gchats. Well, late night here, day time there. She's really the "sunny" part of my day. HAHA. THAT WAS CORNTASTIC, SORRY.

Sigh. "Distance makes the heart grow fonder."

I really hope one day we can write a book or have characters based on us. We've got some good material.
